When I checked my photos the night this was taken, this photo took my breath away.
I was down on the Great Canal at the Food Markets in Venice and one of the vendors threw some scraps onto a wharf. This huge gull started to fly down to it but me pointing the camera scared it away. He/she kept circling out over the water and sweeping back towards me hoping to get back to the scraps. Must have taken 20 photos, but this was the best... |
